Miguel, 32, originally from Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, is the second oldest of four children. He attended school and graduated from Dr. Phillips High in Orlando, Florida after been brought by his parents to Central Florida from the island of Puerto Rico, at age 11.
Seeking more adventure in his life, at age 17, he joined the service and was named youngest U.S. Marine active in 1991, where he proudly served until 1995. He married his wife kimberly at age 19, and they have reside with their two lovely children of ages 8 and 12, in The Four Corners Area for the last 10 years.
While attending Valencia Community College in Orlando, FL., for a finance degree, Miguel chose to breakaway in favor of pursuing the life of an entrepreneur. He had involvement in the transportation business for 8 years focusing in the tourism industry, along his first and favorite mentor, his beloved father, Miguel Sr.
After purchasing his first real estate investment at age 23, Miguel developed a passion for the real estate industry.
Miguel, now a successful entrepreneur, has become a driving force, and oversees the lending aspect of real estate transactions for new homeowners, present owners, and active investors.
He is presently a licensed mortgage broker for, A Mortgage Source International, Inc., an Orlando city-based mortgage firm, and also holds a real estate license, in the State of Florida. He recently founded, and serves as General Manager of, Torres Investment Group, LLC, a real estate investment firm. He is also an active member of the American Real Estate Investors Association.
